Italy: Olly Triumphs at Sanremo 2025! - OGAE Greece (2025)

The 75th Sanremo Music Festival has concluded, and Olly is the grand winner with the song “Balorda Nostalgia”! In one of the most competitive editions of recent years, he managed to stand out among 29 contestants. The results caused quite a stir among the audience, as Giorgia and Achille Lauro failed to make it into the top 5.

As always, Carlo Conti took the stage at Teatro Ariston at 9:45 PM, welcoming the audience to a night of glamour, excitement, and powerful performances. The 29 competing artists delivered their final performances, striving to impress the press jury, radio jury, and television audience, hoping for a coveted spot in the Top 5 and the Superfinal.

The Grand Finale

The evening began with the anthem of this year’s festival, the ultimate hit Tutta L’Italia by Gabry Ponte, being performed live for the first time and electrifying the atmosphere at Teatro Ariston.

For the final night, Alessia Marcuzzi and Alessandro Cattelan joined Conti to host an electrifying show. The stage lit up with 29 outstanding performances, while the votes from the journalistic committee (33%), radio jury (33%), and television audience (34%) determined the evening’s standout artists.

After the announcement of the artists’ performance order, the lines for the public vote opened, marking the beginning of the competitive part of tonight’s event.

The grand final night could not be without distinguished guests. Fiorentina footballer Edoardo Bove, who suffered a heart attack during his team’s match last December, made an emotional appearance at the Teatro Ariston. Meanwhile, on the Suzuki Stage, rapper Tedua delivered a unique show, performing his song “Bagagli“, as did Planet Funk with “Nights in White Satin” from the cruise ship Costa Toscana.

One of the most touching moments of the evening was the awarding of Antonello Venditti for his outstanding contribution to Italian music. The legendary artist also treated the audience to a heartfelt performance of his beloved songs “Amici mai” and “Ricordati di me“.

Once again, Mahmood stole the show by presenting his new single “Sottomarini” in an exclusive first-time performance during the Superfinal voting.

The festival’s final night lived up to expectations, filled with surprises, powerful performances, and emotional moments that will remain unforgettable for the audience.
